CTG Surveyors were commissioned to project manage the £675,000 refurbishment of an existing 1970’s sports complex and swimming pool.
The Project was fast-track with only 7 months from approval of working to completion as the University needed to undertake the works during its summer closure to reduce disruption and the loss of revenue.
As part of our commission CTG Surveyors prepared schedules of works, oversaw the tendering process, managed specialist consultants and the University’s in-house design team, undertook cost control and programme management and the liaison with the Sports Centre Management and User Groups.
A fast-track project requiring a flexible project management approach with clear communication, decision making and sign off. CTG Surveyors adopted a hands-on approach with a site presence daily during the 18 week building contract speed decision making and ensure quality of work. |
